This sloping front garden was a bare canvas for us to work with.
It was wet, as neighbours spetic tank water ran down the hill. There where lots of hungry rabbits, and it was a very steep bank.
We got the excavator in there and did a cut and fill to create a level area at the end of the exsiting Treated pine retaining wall, and then installed rocks and plants to retain the bank.
Plant selection was was extra important on this job, as the plants had challenging conditions to deal with, some very wet areas, some very dry areas and rabbits.
We used plant guards for the 1st year to let the plants get established a bit before exposing them to the rabbits.
We applied a thick layer of chunky mulch all around to keep the weeds at bay.
