After consultation with the library manager and discussion regardeing the requirements and public needs the garden was aiming to achieve we went about designing a user friendly and functional lay-out for the garden while working within the budget constrants.
We removed the lawn to reduce on going maintenace and made more space for corigated iron raised garden beds along with some fruit trees.
To stick to the tight budget some of the construction was carried out by "Mens shed" and other local community groups.
