When I meet with these clients, the brick retaining walls and concrete steps had already been installed. Due to the symetrical lay out, we decided to go with a formal planting theme, using plants that like the full sun aspect of the block.

We used Deciduous trees on the higher level close to the house, to provide some shade in summer and let the winter sun in. They also provide scale to the house.

We installed a watering system so the hedges would grow quicker and join togther sooner.

Thanks to the mini Dumper we efficently install more then 10 cubic mtrs of soil into these garden beds before planting.
